Michigan Lighthouses in Winter

Point Betsie Lighthouse on Lake Michigan by Ken Bosma (link below)

If you don't live near one of the Michigan lights, it might be easy to forget them in the winter.  But these beauties are with us all year round, not just during summer travel season.  I've been on hiatus from this blog and will be back in the new year, but I wanted to check in and remind you how lucky we are to be surrounded by these gems.

I found an excellent winter lighthouse picture gallery for your perusal at Pasty.com.  Yep, that's what you think it is, a website celebrating the famous UP pasties as well as all things Northern Michigan.  Check out this link to their Michigan winter lighthouse gallery.  Sit back and put it on slideshow mode why don't you and enjoy.  From another Michigan lighthouse lover, I hope you have a happy holiday season.
